Uplist

Privacy Policy

Uplist collects nothing about you. This page explains why that is a property of how the app is built, not just a promise.

Last updated 31 August 2026.

What Uplist collects

Nothing. Uplist does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. There is no account to create, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising identifier, and no crash reporting.

Why we can say that plainly

Uplist runs in Apple's App Sandbox and is granted no network entitlement. That means macOS itself prevents the app from opening any network connection. It is not that Uplist chooses not to contact a server — it cannot. There is no Uplist server anywhere.

Where your data lives

Apple Intelligence

On macOS 26, where Apple Intelligence is available, Uplist can explain a task or summarise completed work using Apple's on-device model. This processing is performed by the operating system on your Mac. Uplist does not send this content to the developer or to any third party.

Third parties

Uplist contains no third-party SDKs, no analytics libraries, no advertising frameworks, and no tracking of any kind. Apart from Apple's own frameworks that ship with macOS, it has no dependencies.

Children

Uplist collects no data from anyone, of any age.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app removes its local data with it. If you used iCloud sync, you can remove the stored file from iCloud Drive at any time, or through iCloud settings on your Mac. Because the developer never receives your data, there is nothing held elsewhere for you to request or delete.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date. If a future version of the app ever collected anything at all, that would be stated here plainly and before the change took effect.
