Where are my tasks stored?

In a plain JSON file inside the app's own container on your Mac. With iCloud sync switched on, the file lives in Uplist's iCloud container instead, so your other Macs can see it.

I turned on iCloud and Settings says it is not syncing.

Check that iCloud Drive is switched on for your Mac in System Settings, under your name, then iCloud. Uplist can only use iCloud when iCloud Drive is available. If it still does not sync, quit and reopen the app — the container is looked up once at launch.

What happens if I edit on two Macs at the same time?

The newest version becomes the one you see, and the other is kept beside it as data-conflict-<date>.json in the same folder. Nothing is deleted, and the app tells you when it happens.

Will I lose my tasks if I delete the app?

With iCloud sync on, no — reinstall the app and your tasks come back. With sync off, your tasks live only on that Mac and are removed with the app, so turn sync on if that matters to you.

I cannot find the Apple Intelligence features.

They require macOS 26 on a Mac where Apple Intelligence is available and switched on. On any other Mac the feature is absent by design, and the rest of the app is unaffected.

Does Uplist send my tasks anywhere?

No. The app has no network access whatsoever. See the privacy policy.

Is there an iPhone version?

Not at the moment. Uplist is a Mac app.

How much does it cost?

Nothing. There is no paid tier and no in-app purchase.
